Visit by the US State Department Bureau of South & Central Asian Affairs

The delegation of Pakistan Hindu Council led by Patron-in-Chief Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, welcomed the delegation from the US STATE DEPARTMENT led by Dr. Laura Anne Tedesco along with the delegation of Management Board for Antiquities & Physical Heritage, Government of Sindh at the Shree Varun Dev Temple, Manora Island.
Dr. Laura is the Culture Heritage Program Manager for the US State Department’s Bureau of South & Central Asian Affairs.
A briefing was given by Patron-in-Chief, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani about the historical significance of the temple and the efforts of the Pakistan Hindu Council in maintaining the heritage site.
Bouquets, shawls, and souvenirs of the Pakistan Hindu Council were also presented to the team.
