PAKISTAN MINORITIES DAY

In his speech on 11th August 1948, Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah advocated for equal rights for all religious & ethnic communities in Pakistan and further endorsed a strong message for Interfaith harmony in the newly made Pakistan.
Quaid said, “You are free; you are free to go to your temples. You are free to go to your mosques or other places of worship in this State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion, caste, or creed—that has nothing to do with the state’s business.”
