Navratri Day 4

𝗡𝗔𝗩𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗥𝗜 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟰: 𝗞𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮
As we enter the fourth day of 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶 also known as Chaturti, this day is associated with 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗞𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮.
Ku meaning “𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦”, Ushma meaning “𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘵𝘩” or “𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺” and Anda meaning “𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘦𝘨𝘨”
It is stated that She created the whole universe, which is called 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 in Sanskrit, by just flashing a little bit of her smile. As She is believed to be the creative power of the universe, Kushmanda is associated with the endowment of vegetation on earth. She is depicted as having eight arms and is sitting on a Tiger.
When the universe was non-existent and darkness prevailed everywhere, Maa Kushmanda produced the Cosmic egg, bringing light to the universe. Kushmanda has the power and strength to live in the core of the Sun. Her luminosity gives the Sun its brightness. She is said to provide directions to the Sun God, Surya
