Merry Christmas, 2018

Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God. Christmas is now celebrated by people around the world, whether they are Christians or not. It’s a time when family and friends come together and remember the good things they have. People, and especially children, also like Christmas as it’s a time when you give and receive presents. Christmas is one of the biggest events in this world which is celebrated by Christians around the world. As the president of Pakistan Hindu Council, I would like to wish Merry Christmas to all the Christians around the world and I wish this event will lighten up the lives of people in Pakistan. In reference of Interfaith Harmony, I celebrate this event with our Christian Brothers as such events are the source of getting people closer to each other.
