Current budget is people-friendly budget: Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani

Islamabad (June 15, 2016): PML (N) Member of National Assembly from Tharparkar Sindh, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani has called the current budget 2016-17 people friendly oriented. Dr Ramesh Kumar while participating in the National Assembly session on the budget discussion has said that the anti-federation remarks by PPP Chairman against the current budget are hilarious and baseless.

Talking to the media outside the Parliament House, Dr. Ramesh, defended different ongoing development projects, saying that in the current budget 2016-17 the PSDP allocated Rs 875 billion for all provinces which is 20% more than last year.

He said that due to government tireless efforts energy crisis have been controlled to great extent. He further informed that Federal Government has approved a project of Rs1 Billion 64 million to ensure un-interrupted provision of electricity to the remote areas of Sindh.

Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani citing various projects like Thar Coal, New Ganj Dam Dadu, Darwat Dam Jamshoro, Greater Karachi Water Supply Scheme, Multan to Sukkur – Hyderabad Section motorway, CPEC projects to link Gawadar to Karachi and Nawabshah has advised Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhuto Zardari to refrain from misguiding innocent people from Federal Government by exploiting Provincialism.

Answering a question, he said that the current government has taken brave stand against the US. drone attack in Balochistan, and called it as the attack on the sovereignty of the country.

On this occasion, Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani further said that Federal Government has decided to allocate Rs200 million for the establishment of Shaheed Benazir Bhuto University in Nawabshah to benefit Sindh people with modern education. He also urged to organize a conference on national level to highlight the issues related to minorities, and women.
