Pakistan Hindu Council organised the 11th Combined Marriages Program for 75 deserving couples on 6th January, 2019 at Railway Ground Karachi. It is a blessing for all the PHC members that they helped the needy families in arranging the marriage ceremony for them. The event started with an Aarti Sahab following by wedding knot for all 75 couples. Big thank you to all the Bankers, Delegates and other personalities for attending, supporting and blessing all the couples. Great support by all the Media Groups both Nationally and Internationally. Dr Ramesh Kumar Vakwani (MNA and Patron PHC) said that this is one the best blessings for us as PHC always start the new year with donations to the needy. He further said that this is a strong message for the world that Hindus are also involved with community services in Pakistan. Adding to this Mr. Gopal Khamuani (President PHC) shared his happiness by congratulating the couples and appreciating all the sponsors, supporters, print and electronic media groups for helping with this noble cause. He further added to this and said it is a blessing and big achievement to dower the couples and serve them to live their life happily. He shared with media personnel that all couples are getting Dowry of worth PKR 1 Lac; which includes dresses, shoes, jewellery and electronics. He admired the contributions of Mr. Faisal Edhi Sahab (Chairman of Edhi Foundation) for distributing 5000 cash for each couple. Program included Shield and Ajrak(Essential from Sindh) for all the honorable guests; distributed by the Members including Patron and President.
